Except for the first semester as indicated above, tuition is billed at a rate of $670 per enrolled unit and students typically enroll for 24 units per semester. The actual semester cost varies if a student takes less than or more than 24 units in a semester.

Please note that the cost of tuition is cohort-based, meaning that the cost of tuition is consistent throughout a studentโ€™s time in the program.

Deposit

Admitted students are required to pay a $2,500 non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the program. The deposit is due approximately two weeks from the date the admission decision is released and is applied toward tuition expenses. Acceptance letters contain detailed instructions for submitting the deposit.


Verification Fee

To safeguard the integrity of the admissions process, Carnegie Mellon university routinely uses a third-party company to verify credentials for all admitted candidates.
