The QS World University Rankings by Subject published today shows that TU/e is one of the top 100 universities in the world in 7 disciplines, with Architecture studies reaching 45th place, an increase of two places compared to last year. TU/e thus occupies a relatively stable position in this ranking, which is particularly popular among international prospective students.

Globally, this year 1130 universities have been ranked by academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per published article and the H-index. Unlike other rankings, universities do not have to provide data themselves. Of the 48 sub-areas that QS looked at this year, TU/e was included in 13, seven of which fall within the top 100.

Eindhoven University of Technology Campus and Accomodation
TU/e green campus is an attractive place for students, researchers, entrepreneurs with their state-of-the-art offline and online facilities. The campus is a lively, green place in the center of Eindhoven city. The TU/e Campus has extensive facilities outfitted to develop the standard of education and research.

The university is home to a sports center catering up to 70 distinct sports and 40 sports associations. It organises a range of cultural activities and events on the campus with plenty of focus on various cultures.
TU/e also has a Common Room for international and Dutch students where they can meet for a drink, to chat and to study together. There are facilities like books, magazines and party games as well as wireless internet connection. For a bite to eat and a drink, there are a wide range of catering options on the campus.

Accomodation

Students will get seats on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. In case the limit of students has been reached or a student wants to visit for a deviating period, they need to look for accommodation themselves. TU/e has a number of accommodations accessible for exchange students in Vestide and Friendly Housing.
Vesture: All housing offered by Vestide is fully furnished with facilities like, (single) bed, table & chair, lamp, wardrobe, basic kitchen utensils, such as pots, pans, cups, plates and cutlery, bed linen, use of a washing machine.Some of the rooms may contain more items or furnishing. Vestide accommodation costs 450 – 850 Euro per month
Friendly Housing: TU/e has several student rooms available with Friendly Housing. All the rooms are fully furnished and the service charges are included in the rental price.The rental price for a semester varies from 2400- 3300 Euro.
Eindhoven University of Technology Programs
TU/e offers admissions in 15 UG and 48 PG courses in 9 major departments including Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences, Applied Physics, Built Environment, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

The university provides admission in honours programs under bachelor and master level. There are 8 fields of study under this program for bachelor level students and 2 fields for professional development components and personal leadership, for masters’ students
