INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM
Welcoming and Enriching multicultural educational opportunities for students from around the globe.
Students come from all over the world to attend ECSU- it is a part of what makes us great!!!! We embrace the variety of experiences and backgrounds our students bring to our campus community.
The ECSU International Programs Office offers a range of programs for international students.
ECSU is proud that international students are part of its student body. The Office of International Programs is a unit within the Division of Academic Affairs, and it is designed to build a campus-wide global perspective through an academic exchange program that fosters service, support, and advocacy. Students may study abroad, conduct research, or participate in faculty-led trips in service learning. ECSU is committed to building and managing partnerships with universities around the world and expanding the presence of international students and faculty on the campus.
Mission
The mission of the IPO is to provide all students (undergraduate and graduate) a pathway for international experiences and exposure.
Objectives
The objectives of the IPO encompass all disciplines in the University and include: academic exchange programs for students and faculty, study abroad, managing agreements with overseas institutions, and working with faculty to develop new international programs and global awareness activities through various cultural and educational activities throughout the year to create a campus-wide global perspective. International students on our campus play a major role in helping to develop that international perspective and we welcome them to our campus.
