In the year 2011, the University turned from a ‘for-profit to a not-for-profit model’, right when Arthur Keiser sold the institution for an undisclosed sum to Everglades College Inc. that is a non-profit entity founded by Keiser which also operates as Everglades University.

In 2015, Keiser University included a 100-acre principal residential campus in West Palm Beach, on the site of what was previously Northwood University’s Florida campus.

In the year 2016, the institution launched the new College of Chiropractic Medicine, with Dr. Michael Wiles, who served as the Dean. This is the first programme of its kind in South Florida.
