If you don’t have a B average in your veterinary degree, we suggest you begin by enrolling for either the Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Science (PGDipVCS) or the Postgraduate Certificate of Science (PGCertSc). Discretionary entry by veterinary degree from an unlisted institution
An additional path to entry is available if you have:
- a veterinary degree that is not from one of the pre-approved universities and
- have 6.5 IELTS score or equivalent (see postgraduate English language proficiency for other English requirements if applicable).
Entry is subject to final approval by the Director of the MVM.
You may enrol in the MVM distance course Principles of Veterinary Epidemiology and then follow it with another MVM 15-credit course. If you obtain a B grade or better in each you can transfer into the MVM.
You are initially enrolled under a Postgraduate Certificate of Science (PGCertSc) and can transfer from this qualification to the MVM. The two courses already completed would contribute to the MVM once you have transferred.
