Review the admission requirements for the program you have selected and gather all necessary documentation.
Ensure that you collect all required supporting documents as per the academic requirements of the Professional Development Program you have chosen.
Ensure you have a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) for the non-refundable application fee of $95.90 CAD ($98.43 as of winter 2023). The fee must be paid online to submit your application.
Complete the application questionnaire, ensuring that you upload all required documents.
Upon completing your online application, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
You can check the status of your application at any time using Athena.
Once a decision has been made, admitted students will receive a notification by email confirming their admission to the program, along with registration instructions. You can then register for courses online during the appropriate registration period.

There are two entry points for the Graduate Certificate in Chronic Pain Management, you may start the program in the Fall or Winter semester.

If you are applying to the Graduate Certificate in Driving Rehabilitation, note that there is only one entry point, to study in the Fall Semester.

Two (2) confidential letters of recommendation, on official letterhead, from individuals who have known the candidate in an academic or work-related capacity. Letters from relatives of the candidate are not accepted. On the application form, provide the name and email addresses of referees. McGill will contact these referees and invite them to upload references on their behalf. Please note: there is no form that is required to be completed by the referees.
A complete Curriculum Vitae (CV), including relevant personal data, education and academic awards received, professional experience and affiliations, courses and seminars attended, research activities and publications.
A completed applicant statement on the web application describing your particular area of interest, objectives and expectations regarding the program, as well as career goals.
Official reports of scores for TOEFL/IELTS and/or GRE if required. In order for McGill to receive these test scores on time, you should consider writing the examinations up to 6 months preceding the beginning of the program.

MCIT online program

The online Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) degree is a first-of-its-kind graduate-level degree program in Computer Science tailored for non-Computer Science majors. This program brings online the long-running, established on-campus MCIT degree that empowers students without computer science backgrounds to succeed in computing and technology fields.

The MCIT program is intended for motivated students who want to start or accelerate a rewarding career in Computer Science.
