Conclusion
We are a group of researchers who have studied the migration patterns of the great blue heron. We are interested in finding out what factors influence these birds’ movement from one location to another, including weather conditions and food availability. We know that some birds migrate more than others do, but we want to know why this difference exists.”””””
Nursing, according to International Council of Nurses (ICN), encompasses autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well. Nursing includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying people. Key nursing roles also involve education, promotion of a safe environment, research, participation in shaping health policy as well as health systems management.
Practical scope
Female and male nurses are the most numerous professional group among medical professions, and thus the most diversified one in terms of responsibilities and competencies required. Their professional activities involve health promotion, prophylaxis, diagnostics, nursing care as well as therapeutic and mobilizing techniques.
This profession makes it possible to assist a healthy man through taking appropriate measures to enhance their health and well-being, to help a sick person recover or to assure them a peaceful, dignified death. Nursing activities focus not only on individuals, families and groups but also on the whole society.
Achievements in medical and related sciences give nurses a lot of opportunities to work in their professional field and participate in continuous professional development, not being threatened by monotony or schematic behaviour.
Nurses may work with their patients in their own homes, in outpatient clinics and highly specialized hospital departments.
Nurses may also get engaged in carrying out research, which improves individual care of the patient and favourably influences the management of health care system.
