Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) – Part-Time
What is Computer Science (CS)? The NTU Part-time CS Programme is concerned with the efficient application of computer technology, through the design of software algorithms and data structures, design methodologies and language paradigms.
If you aspire to develop a professional career in computing, information processing, digital media or intelligent systems, this programme is for you.
Flexible curriculum to further your studies without disrupting your career
Want to pursue a degree but don’t wish to quit your job? Advance both your studies and career at the same time. Perhaps you are working in an organisation that you love and don’t wish to leave, or you may need the income to support yourself and pay your tuition fees. Whatever the case, a part-time curriculum offers you the best of both worlds: Further your education without compromising your career.
Be awarded the same B.Eng degree as Full-time students
A part-time degree doesn’t mean a condensed syllabus. Graduates of the Part-time Bachelor of Engineering programmes are awarded the same degree as full-time students. Enjoy the same academic rigour, university experience, accreditation and recognition when you graduate. The programmes are also accredited by the Institute of Engineers (IES), the Singapore signatory of the Washington Accord, through its Engineering Accreditation Board.
Shine at the workplace by directly applying course concepts
The benefit of a part-time degree is the ability to immediately apply new course concepts learnt in class directly in your job at the workplace. This aspect of hands-on application improves your retention of course concepts and helps you shine at work at the same time – creating a win-win situation.
