Visa Process for International Students
NYU does not require any kind of certificate of finance to begin the student visa process for US. The Office of Global Services (OGS) handles all immigration-related matters. Applicants when get the official admission notice from NYU and get the ID number, fill up the I-20 or DS-2019 form online. During this COVID -19 situation, the OGS will mail digitally signed I-20 to the students’ NYU email account, while DS-2019 will be shipped via UPS. Candidates then pay the SEVIS-fees and complete the I-901 form. They must bring along the following documents with them during the visa interview:
