Healthcare And Safety

Roane State has been known for more than 20 years for high quality healthcare and safety courses for professional certification, licensure renewal and industrial safety applications. We serve 5,000 students annually and have contracts with more than 75 businesses and organizations throughout the area, as well as with some national and international groups.

Our instructors are seasoned veterans in healthcare and safety. Our adjunct faculty is made up of experienced RNs, paramedics, physicians and safety experts who bring real-world experience to the classroom and clinic.

  • Most of our courses are turn-key: we provide all instructors, supplies, equipment and certificates

Roane State Community College in Tennessee is known for many accomplishments in its pursuit to accommodate a diverse learning experience to its many students. Not only are Roane Stateโ€™s programs diverse in nature, but so is its student population. With 9 campuses and several distance learning options available, RSCC provides local students a “no barrier” learning opportunity.

RSCC has an impressive list of innovative programs that it provides to its students. This includes Transfer Pathways, for students who wish to earn an Associate of Art or Science from Roane State. Career Pathways are available for students who wish to earn an Associate of Applied Science or Technical Certificate to quickly enter the workforce, and a number of online degrees can be attained through RSCC.
