Stevens Institute of Technology is a private, not-for-profit university celebrating 150 years in education. The higher learning institution is home to over 3,400 undergraduates and a total of nearly 7,000 students and 300 faculty at all degree levels. Stevens Institute of Technology, structured in 1870, is one of the country’s oldest technological colleges and was the country’s first college dedicated completely to mechanical engineering. Stevens Institute of Technology has produced many notable alumni, including Fredrick Reins, Aaron Cohen, Richard Reeves, Joseph Bushnell Ames, L. Sprague de Camp, Igor Bensen, Koji Seki, and John L. Hanigan.

The Main Campus of Stevens Institute of Technology is the Burnaby campus situated as the neighbor of the City of Vancouver. The second campus in Surrey is located south of the Fraser River and north of the Canada–United States border. Finally, the third campus is The Vancouver campus, located in Vancouver, which is a major city in western Canada.

Stevens Institute of Technology offers 35 undergraduate degrees, 58 Master’s degree programs, over 100 Graduate certificates, and twenty-two Ph.D. programs, plus two interdisciplinary programs. Civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, information systems, chemistry, business, mathematical science, physics, finance, and computer science are among the university’s academic offerings.
