It is exciting to be accepted at a top college like UGA; however, you shouldn’t stop short of seeing what else is out there. Admitting Offices see you as someone who has interests at multiple schools and want you to choose the best fit for your career (so they will come back after they graduate) to send students they don’t want over to their main campus. At some point, every college will send one of two letters: either an acceptance or rejection letter. If campuses haven’t sent out acceptance letters yet, consider contacting their admission staff to ask if their final decision deadline has passed before making a final decision. Also remember that many students wait until the last minute to send in deposits and by then it may be too late!
In 2019, the University of Georgia ranked 13th among public universities in the United States. The acceptance rate for the class of 2023 was around 45 percent, which means that getting accepted to UGA is quite difficult.
