How to apply for a master’s programme

Some master’s programmes require you to submit an application, while others do not. If you have any questions, please contact the programme advisor for the relevant master’s programme. Admission of applicants who did not earn their bachelor’s degrees at the University of Bayreuth generally requires separate approval in the form of an equivalency report to be provided by the board of examiners.

Following admission or approval by the board of examiners, the official enrolment deadlines apply to all master’s programmes with the exception of Business Administration, Health Economics and Business Administration & Engineering

Studying individual modules

The University of Bayreuth provides all students with the opportunity to complete supplementary programmes in theatre education or teaching German as a foreign language. You can also study individual modules to help meet your personal and professional goals.   • The University has a green campus located in the heart of Bayreuth city of Germany.

University of Bayreuth Application Process

Students can apply for the University of Bayreuth Admissions by July 15 for the Winter semester and January 15 for the Summer semester.

University of Bayreuth Financial Aid for International Students

  • The university provides three different types of financial aid viz Grants, Loans, and Scholarships. For availing grants, applicant is required to submit a completed application form along with the following required documents to the International Office for Study Grants:

    • Expert opinion from a university lecturer at the University of Bayreuth
