The Haskayne Daytime MBA program is classroom-based and combines block week classes, daytime classes in your first year and evening classes in your second year (in combination with our Evening MBA students).
There is one intake of the Daytime program each year commencing in August. Classes take place mainly on our main campus in Scurfield Hall with some evening classes at our downtown campus.
This format offers you a number of benefits:

Students who have completed an undergraduate business degree in Canada may be eligible for up to 9 course waivers (post curriculum review). A minimum of 15 courses are required to complete the program; any student with more than 5 core course waivers would substitute additional electives for the remaining courses. In addition to completing the program in less time, this option also saves you money as tuition is charged on a per course basis.
Students may also choose to accelerate their program by opting to complete additional courses during the Spring and Summer semesters.
Please note: All cohorts have a required course scheduled in Spring

Many MBA students are seeking to accelerate their career, or achieve a career transition in terms of function, industry or location. The program attracts up to 40% of its students from international locations across the Americas, Asia and Africa. In addition, our international exchange students enhance the mix of students in the class.
Through spending the intensive first year of core classes together the Daytime MBA students form a strong cohort. They have the opportunity to expand their network with other MBA students through shared elective classes with the Evening MBA and experiential opportunities such as the Leadership Development Program.
The Haskayne MBA degree is a professional degree which provides a broad mix of general management skills through its core curriculum. A specialization within an MBA degree provides the opportunity to focus on a specific functional or industry area. Some students choose to pursue a specialization to either consolidate their prior experience or to complement their existing skill set.
International experience enables students to broaden their perspective and learn about other business cultures. MBA students are encouraged to participate in an international study opportunity. There are a range of international opportunities available to fit with your personal and professional commitments.
