To enroll in a course of duration longer than 6 months in nature, international candidates require a study permit and visa to study in Canada. - Letter of acceptance.
- Proof of financial support.
- Passport and photos.
- Copy of valid passport.
If you’re a legal resident country including China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, among others, you can also opt for Student Direct Stream (SDS) medium offered by the Canadian government for processing your permit faster. But to opt for SDS, you need to meet certain specifications and must have proof of paid 1st-year tuition fee. However, if you fail to meet one of the SDS’s requirements, the applicant can always choose the regular and safe route.
In spite of a very high rate of acceptance, this 108 years old institution is very selective in its approach towards admission which is greatly guided by the parameters of students’ past academic history and grades. Where its renowned courses like Computer Science, Journalism, Engineering and Commerce require an average percentage of 80 and above, its equally brilliant programs in Social Work, Media and Arts are attainable at a slightly lower GPA as well.
Providing internships and professional placements to its students, the university primarily focuses on experiential learning and prepares its candidates for landing some of the high-paying jobs in Canada, guaranteeing a strikingly high student and employer satisfaction rate.
