The University of Borås can offer students help and support in a lot of study related matters.
The University of Borås can provide support in a number of different areas. Students who want to improve their academic writing, oral presentation skills or simply need study counselling are welcome to contact us. Students with dyslexia or other functional disabilities can receive special pedagogical support. If students feel that they have been subject to unacceptable behaviour by the university staff or other students, they can turn to the Student Ombudsman. The Student Health Care includes social counsellors and a nurse.

Staff at the library’s information points are assisting with printing problems, or if you forget your password for your user account. Students can also get help with various software applications such as Word, but also with general questions related to computers or to try to recover lost documents. All questions are welcome and we will help if possible!

The campus is located in modern, purpose built buildings in the city centre within walking distance of local amenities such as shops, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and the main bus and train stations. Public transportation in Borås is both safe and reliable and as a result many of our students choose to live in the surrounding region and commute to the university.
Student clubs
The Student Union in Borås is a student-run organisation which offers advice, activities and other services for students. All students can become a member by paying a membership fee. The membership gives you a student card which grants you many discounts. Some of the student union activities are only open for members.
